AusLändler

Founded in 2025, AusLändler is Jonas Lusti’s latest project. Steadily growing, the ensemble consists of Mattia Facchini and Lucien Palak on saxophones, Wiebke Hennig on violin, Valerian Alfaré on trumpet, Ferdinand Silberg on trombone, Nil Flückiger on double bass and Jonas Lusti on guitar and composition. With the explicit goal to reclaim traditional Swiss music from the cultural image of the conservative right, his compositions explore the recontextualization of folkloristic musical language, drawing inspiration from compositional methods used in contemporary classical music, as well as improvisational concepts from jazz.

S.A.F.

Jonas Lusti and vocalist Dea Daci have been collaborating in various settings since 2023. Quickly, a fruitful and adventerous relationship formed, and their collective work has been developing ever since. With the means of live electronics, folkloristic vocal techniques, popcultural references and the willingness to experiment, S.A.F. explores their sonic implementation of togetherness and communication within free improvisation.
